Remote Sensing communications offers the following types of articles:
- Original research Articles should present crucial and groundbreaking new findings or methodologies that contribute to the advancement of remote sensing science or its practical applications.
- Review articles should provide a comprehensive analysis of the current state of the art on a key topic in remote sensing.
- Communications designed for the rapid publication of significant new techniques, data, or results. This section also includes findings from PhD theses, master’s research projects, undergraduate dissertations, and research project results.
- News & Comment: designed to promptly publish significant news (such as new projects, missions, experiments, symposium announcements, etc.), comments, Q&A and editorial articles.
- Posters: designed to promptly publish results in the form of posters.
- Collections: groups of related articles or topics that are thematically linked. These collections can highlight specific areas of research, emerging trends, or significant advancements in a particular field.
