Pre-Check

Following submission, the Journal Editor conducts an editorial pre-check to assess the article’s suitability for the journal and ensure it aligns with our standards of high-quality research and ethics. Plagiarism is also checked using software. If the manuscript passes the pre-check, it proceeds to the peer-review stage.

Peer Review

Throughout the submission-to-publication journey, a dedicated staff member at Recent Advances coordinates the review process, acting as the primary contact for authors, academic editors, and reviewers. A minimum of two review reports is gathered for each submitted article, and authors have the option to suggest potential reviewers.

Reviewers meticulously evaluate the content, identifying any necessary revisions for publication. They have the authority to reject an article if they find its content insufficient or lacking in scholarly quality. This rigorous assessment ensures that only high-quality, well-supported research moves forward for publication.

Acceptance or rejection

Upon completing the review, the editorial decision is made (the manuscript can only be accepted by the handling associate editor if at least two reviewers endorse it for publication), and authors promptly receive notification.

Publication fees

Upon acceptance, authors are required to pay an article processing fee. No fees are charged for rejected articles..

Article production

This phase involves careful copy editing, language refinement for clarity, and thorough proofreading. Additionally, our team adeptly manages document formatting in Word, ultimately resulting in the production of the final PDF version. These tasks collectively contribute to the professional presentation of our published documents.

Publication and indexing

Following production, the article is electronically published in the specialty journal or section, available in both HTML and PDF formats. Each publication is assigned an automatic DOI, providing a unique and permanent identifier for the work.80
